The wreckage of life can be a blessing and a curse. Some remnants of the past should be left in the darkness where they were abandoned; some however can be recycled, manipulated, taped or stuck together to form an abstract representation of the soul that left these relics behind. Floating in a cool stream or howling in a nightmare all but forgotten, life provides the music and the raw materials of art. There is no need to look any further for inspiration than inside our own secret thoughts and hidden diaries.

Dark Ambient, Experimental musician Trevor Brawn better known as Cold Warning creates music that paints alien landscapes with both organic and electronic instrumentation. Many of Cold Warning's tracks have appeared on several cable networks including The Discovery Channel, The History Channel, Biography, MTV, and many others.

Cold Warning has been compared to the ambient soundscapes of Brian Eno, the dark sonic creations of Vladislav Delay and Lustmord, and the eerie retro song structures of Boards of Canada. Also at times Cold Warning has seemed hard edged enough to be akin to underground industrial artists like Front 242 and the 80's EBM duo The Neon Judgement, and even mainstream alternative industrial electronica artists such as Nine Inch Nails and Bjork. Even more contemporary pioneers such as Peter Gabriel, Pink Floyd, and Gary Numan have been identified as major influences.
