The band was founded by Chicco (Kassim) and Douglas in November 2003, they had just started playing music: Chicco bought an electric guitar and started learning by himself and Doug took drum lessons. They used to just mess around in Doug's room by learning a couple of songs, then they took it more seriously; Chicco began to sing and they found a bassist at school. They then started composing their own songs and even played a small gig at school. A few months later they decided they needed a lead guitarist so they found Flea (Ramzi), a friend of Chicco's. Shortly after, the bassist left the band but luckily one of Flea's friends, John had started playing bass and was a natural so he joined the band as well. The band started of by playing only Incubus songs, but after Flea and John joined, they each brought their own influences upon the band. Even though some of the band members were against trying different types of music, they ended up doing it and adding a new style to their music. Cold Wired have now composed about 30 songs that range from acoustic to indie to punk to rock to metal. The band recently came back from a small "tour" in Ireland, where they played 3 gigs, one being a Coca Cola competition and won 2nd place.
