The band was formed in February, 2000. After 7 years off the music scene, band leader C.G.Dillon was encouraged by one of his good friends Alvin Moore to get back into it. So after giving it some thought, he called his best friend Dion Simon and an acquaintance at the time Richard Howard who are both vocalists, with the idea of putting a band together and "Colour Quest" was born. Since then the band has been performing in and around its surrounding area with great success and is about to embark on bigger and better things in the not too far future. "Colour Quest" has been on a steady rise with the support of its family, friends and fans. One of the greatest achievements so far was the bands performances along side Sherwayne Winchester and Traffik at the Hamilton Carnival 2005 & 2006. Colour Quest is set to release there first CD in April, 2007 and will be touring around Canada and beyond in support of the CD. The band's music would be best described as an infectious blend of Soca,Reggae and R&B. It prides itself on putting on a great show each time out and will leave you wanting more.
