About Band
Conflagration started back in October of '08. Formed by Will, Mike and Steven at the time, the band spent a few months playing covers and jamming every week at La Boîte à Musique in Montreal, Quebec. In December of the same year, the band moved into their own rehearshal studio. After three weeks of extreme makeover in the studio, Conflagration was ready to write their own songs. In April of '09, the band was seeking a bassist. After weeks of researching, Steven brought up Chris, one of his friend from highschool, as a potential candidate. Following the first jam together, Chris got the job.
A mix of raging, thrash and melodic riffs blended with powerful drumbeats is what you can except to hear from Conflagration. With many influences, ranging from the 80ies' Thrash Metal era to the New Wave of American Metal, Conflagration creates its own style by mixing these into a more progressive type of music.
