I'm a singer/songwriter living outside Los Angeles.  My first LP is the #1 album (out of 1200 albums) played on the only (FM) radio station I've ever approached with my music...!  My debut LP beat out all the Beatles albums played there, Abba's Greatest Hits, "Rumors", etc. for at least 4 years!!  Details at www.craigdemetz.com on the "Airplay" page!

I've also got a short clip of one of my songs played several years ago; on the five o'clock news -  of an ABC TV station !   (With album cover on the "news" section!)

I received an Honorable Mention with the song "Where Am I (When I Need You)" from the 2007 Billboard International Song Contest.

More recently, in a submission of a few songs for the December Song of the Year contest; I was named one of "December's Top Songwriters" and "Suggested Artist" in 2009.

Influences include;  The Babys, Elton John, ELO, Billy Joel, Genesis, The O'Jays, and more from Abba to ZZ Top.
