Cream Tangerine are a four piece funk/rock/electro band from Wrexham, North Wales. They have been writing, recording and playing up and down the country for six years .
They made last six, out of thousands of bands for The Glastonbury new talent competition finals in 2005, and were beaten by The Subways.
They have played live sessions for BBC One Wales, and have played along side bands such as, The Kooks, The Coral and The Futureheads.
The band were awarded funding, and played at the Royal gala performance for the Princes Trust at the Llangollen Eisteddfod. The boys have also filmed music videos for Pynci TV, HTV and S4C.
The boys are currently taking bookings for the spring/summer festivals.
“ What The Music are to Led Zeppelin - that is, talented young tykes mischievously appropriating the legacy - Wrexham's Cream Tangerine are to Pink Floyd, late period Beatles, and pretty much anyone that ever puffed on a hash-pipe in the name of art-rock.”
Bethan & Huw, on Radio 1, BBC Wales
“Summer vibe, great harmonies and a hook better than Mike Tysons. Like Blur could be if they still had soul.”
