About Artist
Bringing a whole new style to the game with diverse lyrics and a voice that will want you to hear more, Cross is labeled the youngest most anticipated artist on the come up. Born 'Joshua Romeo Rojas' on Jan.7, 1988, this local Latino evolved into what he is today through pain and struggle. Growing up on the South Side of Jamaica Queens, Cross was surrounded by the culture of Hip-Hop. "I was a real quiet dude as a kid cuz my parents weren't always around, so while I was alone, I would pick up a pen and write how I felt...of course at that time it didn't rhyme". At the age of 12 was his first time in a recording studio in Brooklyn, NY. The producers immediately noticed a future for Hip-Hop while watching Cross record his first song. That same year they produced his first mixtape " Beneath the Bricks". By the time Cross hit High School, he started working with a local Music Entertainment which gave him loads of promotion. Cross was put on magazines, mixtapes, posters all over NYC, and performances at major clubs. "To be Honest, I didn't exactly know what was going on". Cross laughs, " I would go to these meetings but I would have someone talk for me. All I knew was that I had to do my thing when it was 'show time'." Don't sleep on this young talent. Cross has over 800 songs recorded, 4 unreleased mixtapes, and a "leave your hands over your mouth" album coming out. "I'm just tryin' to pick up and continue where Pun left off and I aint gon' stop 'till I get put on a CROSS. literally".
