Born from the ashes of Dark Rise,an underground thrash-death band, the idea of Crysalys (from English Chrysalys, crisalide that is the larvale state of the butterfly, with the added of the word lys in Norwegian ..light..) is born during winter 2003, initially like a side-project, since the members were engage with others bands, then like effective group beginning from the end of 2004 with the drawing up of own pieces and serious motivations for the future. For some problems Vittorio Lattanzi (Dark Rise, Georgie Suicide) left the band and enters officially in winter 2005, Nicola Farina (Morkvald, Kaos Engine). After several live evenings and the escape of demo ..the Season of Suffering.. in the autumn 2006 Massimiliano ..The Mace.. leaves the band for personal reasons and little after also Nicola ..Glacial.. left the group for decision of the Band because of musical divergences and some problems. "Axes" are now played by Giampaolo Squadroni (Rayden Evilution) and Mario Brillarelli (Sg Metal, Sg Promotion). The definitive line-up of the band is: Chiara Malvestiti ..DuSk " at the voice, Alessandro Camela ..Doomtrain " on drums, ..Diurno.. Giampaolo Squadroni at the guitar, Matteo D' Ottavio ..Al J Jackson " at the bass and Mario Brillarelli ..Voivoda.. at the guitar. The style of the band, renamed in ..Melodic Metal.. (in order to try to enclose the kind), spaces from the various types of metal, from that classic, to the melodic death, to the thrash, to the gothic, framed from the feminine voice that spaces from the more delicate clean tone to that most energetic one until arriving to the lyric.
