Sirensong is a three piece grunge band from Texas that formed in early 1994 between guitarist and vocalist Damon Johnston,drummer Terry Barton and bassist Ray Tracey.Sirensong recorded and released their first CD "Survivors Can't Pretend" in May of 1997 which included 10 studio tracks.The band recorded their second CD "Relics" in Febuary of 1999 which included 12 studio tracks.Both CD's were recorded and mixed at Encore Studios In Nacogdoches Texas and released through Disk Makers as a independent label.The grunge bands 15 year career has come a long way since their early days as a up and coming grunge band from Texas.The bands popularity has exploded accross the world wide web on such sites as Music Nation,Our Stage,Musicians Cross Roads,Dark Jam,Vh1 Artist Profiles,Mtv Artist Profiles,Vh1 Artists,Mused Music,Last FM,Band Vista,Unsigned Artist Profiles,Indie Artist,Band Cage,Ilike2rock,Flench,Trifame,Rock The World Artist Site and countless other sites accross the world wide web.Sirensong will release their long awaited third CD"Modern Day Siren" in late 2008 as well as the release of "Sirensong Unplugged" in early 2009.The band is currently working with music producer Otto D'Agnolo at Chaton Studios in Phoenix Arizona recording new tracks for an upcoming CD to be released in early 2010 as well as the release of the bands upcoming DVD on their complete diskography over the past 15 years.Sirensong has been signed with Swerve Records and UK/USA Management and will embark on a UK/USA tour in 2010.Velvet Garden a three piece hardrock/grunge band from Phoenix Arizona that formed in early 2009 between guitarist and vocalist Damon Johnston of the grunge band "Sirensong", bassist Doc Frasier of "Three Fold Fate" and former "Heart" drummer Gary Loomis who played wth Seattle Wa. band "Sorcerer" with Geoff Tate of Queensriche. This band from Phoenix musical roots extend from Seatle Washington to Dallas Texas to Southern California and Phoenix Arizona.Velvet Garden's unique style and sound is a direct result of the bands influences by such artist as Nirvana,Alice in Chains,Stone Temple Pilots,Rob Zombie, Mega Death and other musical influences.Velvet Garden is currently in the studio working with world renowned music producer Otto D'Agnolo at Chaton Studios in Phoenix Arizona where they recorded tracks for their debut CD "Hell Springs Flames" released in late 2009. Otto D'Agnolo has produced albums for such artist as Alice Cooper,Seven Dust,Judas Priest,Paul Mc Cartney and DMX.Velvet Garden will release a DVD disckography of the band and is currently recording their second CD "Never" to be released in early 2010 as well.Swerve Records signed Velvet Garden in early 2010 and will be launching the bands world wide tour with UK/USA Management starting in the US and Europe.
