About Artist
Artist/Engineer/Producer I've been a musician almost all my life from 5th grade band to guitar and song as a teenager. Music has always been a lifelong dream. The dream to create real music from my soul. This label is a major step for me to involve music and the songs I've written in all aspects of my life.
I was born in Red Lodge, Montana October 29th, 1982. I lived there for all of my early childhood, but I've been traveling in one way or another for most of my life. The entire year of 2005 was mostly spent in Bridger, Montana. Where I colaberated my music ideals and my dream of producing my own and other artist's music with the business means and mind of my sister Mary. I remember very well as a child getting into Buddy Holly and how he produced all his own music because only he knew the sound in his head. I still think of that often and my goal is to provide a means for myself and all the other beautiful creative minds out there.
In February, 2005 my sister and I started the business and formed a small project recording studio in a house in Bridger. My first self titled solo debut is a product of that. I wanted to start simple. Just me as I am. No drums, harmony and no solos just a bare bones foundation that I will build upon.
I started playing guitar when I was either 13 or 14. I got a Harmony electric guitar and amp out of the Fingerhut catalog in the spring for getting good grades that school year. I think at that time I knew I was going to be a musician. I sat in my bedroom for hours on end. It was my meditation, my sanctuary from the typical American "Teen" drama that ensues around the junior high years. Since high school I have traveled a lot around the Pacific Northwest. I attended the Art Institute of Seattle for Audio Production. I continue to be an Independent student of Audio Engineering.
The days move on and on.
Through life I walk my path. In my heart I hope to faulter not for my dreams fulfilled will bring me content to stop this talk and begin to fly. I touch the ground and see the sky, the whole universe seen in truth through my mind.
All I am, All I can be is in these hands. As I do and as I choose to pluck these strings and strum these chords, the song soothes me. If I can only walk in stride with this music of my soul, bliss will exist and pain will be no more.
How do I long to be.
How do I strive to be, and oh how much closer I am to be by just being.
It is much easier to exist in my mind and heart sometimes. I do strive to be a good person in all aspects. Although at times I do get wrapped up in the everyday ego drama (lust,envy,pride etc...). The intention of my mind will bring to light all that I wish to make my reality.
Through music I have found my path on the physical level of my being. I will live and work through song this whole lifetime. It is what I feel is my calling, to write and perform music that will reach out and touch people the way I have been by so many great songs throughout my life.
And so here I am a mere student of life and music, lessons are being learned and songs are being written as I experience this human existence.
