Da Phenomenal

About Artist

Many remeber DA PHENOMENAL as DomiNati. He sold 500 copies of the self-titled debut album at the prestigious Walnut Hills High School. He then went on to premiere his second not as sucessful album "Foeva". By this time, many of the Walnut students knew him and often quoted his comical,  and not so lyrical songs. After teaming up with 'hood brothers' Walt Feez and Gutta, he changed his name to D-Choppa, we asked him why "I dunno, I'm tarted. ("Tarted" is currently one of his major hits) Just playin, but I always liked that name. It was just gonna be Choppa, but its somebody in the industry with that name." He mainly did underground work at that time.

Maybe a year later, someone heard a D-Choppa song where he had "spit somethin fierce." The guy listening loved the song saying "your lyrics are awesome bro, they're phenomenal." Phenomenal really was feeling the name so changed his stage name again originally to Chilla, Da Phenomenal. As Chilla, Da Phenomenal he has released "Big Man On Campus", "Phenomenal:A Money Makin' Motivation", and "Stackin in Da 5th 1 3rd:Hosted by Dj Fifth One Third."

Today, Da Phenomenal's objective is to make music everyone enjoys by not talking about the same thing in each song. Also, not considering rapping good or "having bars" to be all METAPHORS like his competititon. He also vows to never rap on an industry beat unless commended by the artist for an official remix.
