Welcome to the Davey Saint page at www.unsigned.com. The songs featured here are from the EP entitled ‚Working for the Lover‘. Work is currently underway on the new album ‚Shakespeare‘, which features a drastic change in style for Davey, blending raw vocals, superb anologue mixing and mastering and an epic sound unlike anything else currently on the market.

'Davey Saint consists of one young man with a very vivid imagination born of very few moral limitations, and one producer who somehow manages to capture the essence of this with her production and programming skills.

Back in 2004, Davey Saint was formed after a night of severe drunken life-examination with a complete stranger in a tiny attic flat somewhere in the surrounding areas of Guildford. Rumour has it that it involved a small casio keyboard along with much debauchery and a bottle of German vodka.

The seed was planted. The flower grew. And it keeps on growing to this day.

He ran away to the circus. Then ran away from the circus. He dabbled in art, fashion, dance and songwriting, soon realising that he could combine all of this plus a lot more with an all-singing-all-dancing solo project. He is constantly occupied with random inspiration, songwriting in unusual places and trying to fulfil the need to make people fall in love with his art, revelling in a world of conflicting emotions and relationships that never seem to quite work out.

Davey Saint er et electro/pop/rock koncept, bestående af en ung mand med en meget levende fantsasi og meget få moralske begrænsninger, samt en producer som evner at fange essensen af dette ved hjælp af kyndig produktion og programmering.

I en lille taglejlighed i vinteren 2004, blev Davey Saint dannet på baggrund af våd nat med livs-analyser sammen med en komplet fremmed i området omkring Guildford i England. Rygtet siget at det involverede et lille casio keyboard og en flaske tysk vodka.

Frøet var sået. Blomsten voksede, og vokser stadig den dag i dag. 

Han søgte tilflugt i cirkusset, og flygtede derfra. Han beskæftigede sig med kunst, mode, dans og sangskrivning, og snart indså han at han kunne kombinere det hele plus meget mere i et soloprojekt bestående af sang og dans.

Han er konstant inspireret og skriver sange utraditionelle steder, hvor han forsøger at opfylde behovet for at få folk til at forelske sig i hans kunst, som afslører en verden af modstridende følelser.
