Hey Everyone,
Welcome to my world of music. Although I have just a beat up, two-key-missing-dell computer, I have managed to record some of the music I have written in the past ten months. I apologize first and foremost, because the limited resources I have (believe me, the audacity software is pathetic)... it does not do the music justice... but everything that you hear (and see) is my own doing. I have only been singing for ten months, and playing for two and a half years... and I am looking for a band to get myself into eventually (or to form).
A lot of my lyrics are personal and well thought out. I experiment with rhyming schemes and melodies to capture the art of the expression and emotion of the music. In essence, I try to implement a poetic flourish into my music, to give it more distinction and meaning.
A little about the Music:
My Life Song was written in 2005 while I was going through an intricate time in my life. At this juncture, I had a choice to make... to shed the layers of my past or to continue to drift from God. Since then, I have grown in my faith...
In 2006, I splurged into my music, writing "I will Carry You My Friend," which would be the trademark song of my performances. Written amongst seven other songs, I felt a calling in music.
This summer, I have written four other songs... highlighted by "Chasing after you" which I wrote 2 weeks ago, and "I'm Not Worthy," which was written four days ago.
By all means, enjoy the music... I know that thoroughly enjoyed making it.
