Since being birthed and raised in Miami Gardens, D. CA$H has long been destined for success. He has the total package; his powerful, yet witty punchlines and futuristic flows are second to none. D.CA$H grew up being influenced by the massive hip hop culture. Initially, D.CA$H did not take interest in the southern style of rap music, he sought to be different and focused more on the complex lyrical east coast sound. In the past, Dade county's "Bass Music" maintained dominance in the rap arena, such as your typical "Get Loose" in the club or "Crunk Music" hits. So, instead of following the popular trend of this style as his peers and those before him had, D. CA$H took more of a lyrical approach to his music. Later on down the road CA$H learned to appreciate and incorporate his southern culture when he saw the success of more southern lyricists emerge such as T.I., Lil' Wayne, and Chamillionaire.

Seeing that it could be done, CA$H is more focused than ever to show everybody why he feels he's the "Best Rapper in Miami", and to give Dade county and the rest of the world a heavy dosage of diversity at its best. With his Hollywood-ready good looks, catwalk-ready style, and natural charisma; last and definitely most important his ferocious yet slick lyrics, CA$H is the perfect mix for the "New breed" of southern MC's. "I feel Miami is not really recognized for southern hip hop. A lot of people end the south at Georgia. The last time I checked, geographically speaking, there's nothing more south than Florida. We are the actual definition of 'Da Bottom of the Map'.
