Hello!!
my name is james aka de-jedi. I started making tunes using ejay in 1999, and loved the idea of putting beats the beats together to make tunes for fun. Things then progressed to Reason and Cubase during 2001, which then opened up a whole playground. Then i purchased some technics 1210s mk2 with a vestax pcv 275 mixer and began rinsing out some old school, jungle, hardcore and commercial tunes which had been donated by previous dj hopefulls. I then began to build my collection of drum n bass with rnb and hip hop remixes, for those who hadnt jumped on the bus, as yet!
Mixing had become easy to pick up, as i could indentify when it actually did sound like a drum kit falling down the stairs. I then entered a dj comp called Super star dj 2004. I reached the regional finals (last 16 out of approx 300+ djs from up and down the country. I was loving it.
After a pointless break i have returned with a mission of creating some decent tunes that people can relate too, have a laugh at and enjoy. Getting up to date with things and baseline house has become really popular these days. Ive had a little a little dabble, have a siv through the tunage.. Just waitin for new vocal recording stuff, so watch this space for the hip hop and rnb tunage!!!
