 Music of Dead Coil is a mix of alternative metal and grunge, which is seldom seen on Russian scene. Members of the collective produce a really qualitative material, specially for the current generation of young people, indifferent to the world..s alternative. For the participants of Dead Coil music creativity is more than just a hobby - it..s an important part of their life. All four group members - motivated people are driving the team forward at the expense of their capacity and music.
 The band was founded in the 2007/2008 year. The founders of the team are present gitraist and drummer Alexander Kloptsov and Gregory "Grif" Sokolov. Later, the guitarist and bassist Art Pavlov and Stanislav Koroly completed the team, but after six months they have left the band couse of personal reasons. Despite these losses, the team continues to work on their material. Next, the team joins Alex "Stainder" Pankov, which harmonize with the overall style of the group and quickly found common ground with other parties. After a while guitarist Daniel "Mankind" Nazarov and bassist Philip Strukov join the team, but Mankind has left the group after a while, guided by personal motives. Participants of the team decided to pursue a musical work without a second guitarist. With new bassist attitudes shape well and, thus, the group finally formed. The debut concert of command Dead Coil held on 12 May 2009 in the club XO. In summer 2009 team busy working on new material, recording a demo album and preparing for a concert to be held in August 2009.
