Formed in April 2005, Deathland are a band of Thrash/Speed Metal, with influences like Artillery, Slayer, Exodus, Kreator, Annihilator, Testament, Iced Earth, Pantera, Iron Maiden and Megadeth.

In 2006, their first demo "Devastation Begins" was recorded, consisting in 4 tracks marked by Thrash/Speed Metal rhythm, and shows the first music registrations of these young musicians. With this recording, some doors were opened, and after some working time, several concerts were scheduled from north to south of the country. The band was invited to share stage with bands like RAMP, Shadowsphere, Angriff, Dr.Salazar and with international bands like Onslaught, Destruction, Primal Fear, Silent Force and Adagio.

The result couldn't be better, and with so much positive feedback it is hoped that the number of supporters keep on growing.

Currently without drummer but with an amazing strength to continue, Deathland very soon will be in studio to record the work that has already been demonstrated on stage!
