“I started playing when I was about seven, after seeing Bob Dylan live. I knew then what I wanted to do,” said Kris. “I met Luke at a party 8 years ago and the DJ spun Satisfaction; a couple of days later we were jamming together. We thought it obvious we had to start a band.”
“We’d been in a few bands before I asked Nick to join,” said Luke. “Kris asked Daz to join ‘coz he’s the best drummer around. We haven’t been together long but we knew from the first rehearsal this time we’d got it right.” “That’s because of all the different influences we have,” said Nick. “You (Luke) like Zeppelin, Free, Kinks and Stereophonics. Daz likes Rush, Jeff Buckley and PJ Harvey. I like Nirvana, Rancid, Clash and the Pistols. Who would have thought?!”
“The two for me are Mike Campbell and Lindsey Buckingham,” said Kris.
“Style?” said Daz, “it was the style of the tunes the guys played that attracted me to the band, all the songs seem familiar like old friends but with an edge. Good songs have a style of their own.”
