About Band
DISCIPLES OF DOOM in Warrendale Pa. was formed in 2006. The main thrust of the band is to provide a total entertainment package both on stage and off. Most music is two dimentional, but D.O.D. music is multi- dimentional with double entendre`s and hidden meanings. The music sound is a power, melodic hard rock sound that was prevailent in the mid 70's to mid eighties. They were influenced by such artists as Black Sabbath, Ozzy, Blackmore, Satriani, Elton John, Rush, Van Halen, and many others. And these influences are blended together to give the DISCIPLES OF DOOM their own unique sound. The lyrics of the songs must be relatable and meaningful to the fans, even though song topics are varied. Sound lyrics are vital to D.O.D. music. On stage, the band is theatrical and full of energy, entertaining from beginning to end. There ain't no other show like a D.O.D. show!
