Timothy Andrew Santiago was born in the Bronx and never had any troubles or problems while growing up as a kid.Timothy lives at home in the Bronx with mom Yvette, dad Thomas , his sister yvelise , and brother thomas jr , d .Timothy was in to the arts at a very young age, he use to draw and paint and got his stuff put in magazines . Timothy never was allowed to hear rap due to what was talked about like drug , sex , and others . Until one day his brother Thomas jr played a Big Pun cd . This was the first rapper that Timothy ever heard and started to love the music . Timothy's brother Thomas introduced him to music from 2 pac , Biggie , LL Cool j , Krs One , Dmx and others . Soon Timothy started getting into the hip hop thing style with the clothes and the talk and even alittle of rhymes that everyday at lunch in school he would rap something new for his friends. A year passed and Timothy met a friend that was in to music even more than he was and Timothy looked up to him . Soon Timothy and his friend formed a rap group named Def State . Timothy was the hype man and his friend was the rapper. His friend went by the name of Disk. Timothy became best of friends with DISK and was together all the time until one day Timothy was waiting for his friend in the morning of may '97 and find out his friend died from cancer . Timothy lost hope in life and didn't care about life anymore . It was his first year in middle school and Timothy didn't want to talk to anyone or know anyone . One night before he want to sleep he prayed and wish everything was goin to be okay with his life seeing what had happen to his friend . That very night Timothy had a dream that he was with his best friend and his best friend told he to live on and everything was going to be okay . Timothy got up that very night and get his school book and starting writing again . Timothy believe that seeing his friend was a sign and that he knew at that point what he wanted to be. Timothy now goes by the name 'Disk' which is to remember and to keep his friend with him all the time . The next year Timothy already had 2 book full with new raps that no one heard yet. He started talking to people and became his self again. He met a guy by the name of Jonas and started to rap with him . They use to go to his house to record there raps but Timothy didn't come from a rich family so they recorded on a mini tape record with the beat tune up . That year Timothy sign up of the talent show in his school and was told that he was goin to meet a recording artists by the name of Pete Gunz who never showed up . Timothy was mad and upset at everyone but never give up on his and his friend dream . Years go by and Timothy starts working with other people like Parris , Weapen x , Amaze , Realz , and the list continues . Timothy stared also producing for himself as well as for others. Disk was already getting paid over 14,000 and was making big move at the age of 16.
