The Doug Means Project - DMP - is a funky blend of rock, reggae and hip-hop played by a bunch of Dangerous Men Pimpin. Bobbin yo head and shakin yo ass to the Deep Madd Pocket. Back in the day... a small, but highly trained crew assembled together to rid the world of weak music and to create a more harmonious environment for the people. But evil and insidious forces gathered together to fight against them - and the battle rages on...

 
Formed over a year ago in a far off world known as Southern California, the crew has been carefully selected:

J-Mo – Boom Crack – L.A. style

A.K. – Spice / Back Vox – Westside!

Josh and E – lead and rhythm strings – from planet guitar located near L.A.

Benji – big strings - Hollywood

K.C. – Back Vox – North of Hollywood

 
DMP has performed throughout the Southern California area at venues like: Blue Café in Long Beach, the Derby in Los Angeles, the Shark Club in Orange County, and many others…

 
Individual members of DMP have been around the world and across the country with various recording / touring artists such as: Eek A Mouse, HR of Bad Brains, Dave Wakeling of the English Beat, Michael Rose of Black Uhuru, and others…

 
DMP has just finished recording, mixing and mastering of their first full-length CD and has a strong presence on the internet with their website and myspace page being viewed daily by hundreds of the uninitiated.
