About Band
Keyboardist Branislav Stankovic and a group of studio musicians recorded and released DRACONIC’s debut album Conflux on Rock Express Records in 2003.
Since then, DRACONIC has gone through a complete makeover in terms of sound and style.
The new material written and recorded for the second album, to be titled From the Wrong Side of the Aperture, shows newfound maturity and chemistry within the band.
With influences ranging from the melodic crunch of In Flames to the complex playing of Dream Theater and Rush, and the aggression and rhythmic assault of Meshuggah and Strapping Young Lad, the new material demonstrates the fact that DRACONIC is a metal band spawned from years of devotion to the genre, crafting its own style of modern metal in a sea of bandwagon-jumping biters and trend followers.
