In a world that has opportunity for everyone, it's been a struggle to be heard by a few. Singing is the solidified meaning of existence for Danielle Renee, D. Renee, Dani for short. She has always known it tto be her true calling. Since her premature birth of 7 months, weighing in at 2 pounds and 2 ½ ounces, the fight to be heard had began. A nurse advised in amazement to her mother of the newborn no tubes, no wires. They could hear her from down the hall. The nurses all exclaimed "Those lungs! My goodness!" It's been on ever since. It was an undeniable fact that at a very early age, D. Renee was destined to hit the stage, using those incredible lungs.

Growing up on the Southside of Jamaica Queens, Danielle's dreams never withered away. Her instructor at B.J., "didn't take no mess, she didn't mold no mess." She was strict with a smile of sunshine that made you believe all is possible. Dani continued giving shows on the block, dance recitals at Carnegie Hall, as well as, joining and performing with rap singing groups.

D. Renee's talent was undeniable. It was nurtured with the help of great artists and long time friends. These include, Jackie members and member of the Persuaders ("It's a thin Line Between Love and hate"). She was also influenced by Aretha Franklin, Patti Labelle, Chaka Khan, and many more.

Her hunger, passion and determination to pick up the mic intensified. Danielle has performed in various talent shows, won at the Apollo, performed for working Woman's Magazine, Leroy Comrie Council Men's office, Mayor Bloomberg at a benefit given by the Prestigious M.
