From a dirty stretch of road called Route 666 comes whiskey fueled songs of sex, death and torment from four souls well on their way to Hell. The DropDeadBeats invoke the spirits of long dead Rock n Roll traditions combining country, blues, surf, punk, rhythm and blues to create their own brand of psycho-rockabilly affectionately called “Horror-Tonk” The band’s driving voodoo jungle rhythms are provided by “The King of the Cowbell” Anthony Munster on the drums and the soothing slappy slap bass brought to you by Grim Jim Crowley. The baron Chris VonKarloff tears through song after song on a big red Gretsch guitar that will reaffirm your beliefs in Rock n Roll as a higher power. And guiding you down this road of sin is Jimmy Lugosi, a mad drunken vehicle for Satan filling your ears with stories of pain, loss, booze and breasts!
