Dylan Blues Project is a 3 piece Power Trio Blues band. They play everything from Albert Collins to ZZ Top, Delta Blues to Texas Rockin' Blues, including their own originals (soon to be released). DBP was originated around 1999 in Pulaski Co. Va. with some of the local fellas. Just a bunch of good `ol boys, some of the best around, playin it all. Avery Dylan got a couple of `em together and the “Dylan Blues Project” was born.

They started playing shows all over Virginia but eventually that wasn’t good enough. So, in search of the right musicians and larger venues he took it to Athens, Ga in`03 to start over again. Once in Georgia Avery Dylan focused first on meeting and working with the local talent in their bands. In 2006 Dylan Blues Project was reformed with a new drummer and bass player. Better than ever they are back in action and working full time as musicians. 2007 has picked up where 2006 left off with D.B.P. booking more shows, meeting more people, and doing more things, including recording their debut album, Dylan Blues Project “Possum Hollow Road“

Their music is filled with energy and the powerful sounds of the Southern/Texas style Rockin’ Blues. Bringing you back home to the roots and being around people we all can relate to is what D.B.P is all about, (And good times, and meeting all those cool folks that are still out there.)
