From Vermont’s northeast kingdom comes the Progressive psychedelic sound that is Electric Sorcery. . This electrifying power trio brings together three of the best known original musicians in the Nek. Derek Campbell, Micah Carbonneau & Luke Laplant. These three musicians have performed in various groups together since the late 90’s. Tight, funky grooves, nasty, heavy riffs and soulful Vocals are the staples of their sound. Introducing strange electronic sounds from the Theremin and other devices as well as wind instruments and percussion help to create a psychedelic atmosphere. These cats are quite familiar with the Vt music scene Having played and toured in groups such as Viscus, Cobalt Blue, Bootyjuice, The Myra Flynn Trio, Money Jungle, Jennifer Hartswick Band, Hoochie Lumbardo and others. Electric sorcery plays a wide range of Original Music as well as Cover songs from Frank Zappa, Buddy Miles, Santana, King Crimson, N.E.R.D. and more.
