About Band
From Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom comes the psychedelic funk rock sound that is Electric Sorcery. This electrifying power trio brings together three of the best known original musicians in the NEK. Derek Campbell, Micah Carbonneau & Nathanael Reynolds. Prolific songwriters and exemplary instrumentalists these three musicians refuse to confine themselves to a single instrument. Each can be seen moving quite fluidly through the guitar, bass, drums & vocals. Introducing strange electronic sounds from the theremin and other devices as well as wind instruments and percussion help to create a psychedelic atmosphere. Tight, funky grooves, nasty, heavy riffs and soulful vocals keep bootys shaking and spirits rising. These cats are quite familiar with the VT music scene having played and toured with groups such as Viscus, Cobalt Blue, Hoochie Lumbardo and others. Electric Sorcery plays a wide range of original music as well as cover songs from Frank Zappa, Santana, Buddy Miles, King Crimson, The Rocky Horror Picture Show and more.
