Hailing from the depths of Southeast Portland comes a band that was inevitably waiting to happen. Empty Room is a unique blend of post-punk and new wave with rockin' drums and pop lyricism. Thier onstage dynamics of infectious guitar and bass riffs, vivacious keyboard lines and the animated vocalist create a fireball of excitement throughout the crowd, leaving them wanting more. A band whos influences like David Bowie, Gary Numan, New Order, Mike Patton and Nirvana have cultivated the fertile minds of the five individuals that make up the band.

Empty Room (2003-Present), has just hired their fourth drummer, Joe, to flesh out the band's roster. They have begun writing new songs, for upcoming Spring/Summer 2007 recording sessions. They're also working, on an updated press kit, including a brand new three song demo. Empty Room, is currently unsigned, but hoping to attract an independent label, upon completion, of the new press kit. As far as shows, a few things are in the works, but they are available most nights, for evening gigs, given proper notice. Ideally, they would like to play about four shows a month, tow in Portland, and two out of town.
