This project was the abortion that just kept breathing. Fetus Ripper (John Putignano) started this band in 2000 originally as Zyklon Death with his friend "Bloodfuck" (Jon Mulligan). The aim from the beginning was the create horrendous gore metal, and that is just what they did...for one song...a christmas song. After this Bloodfuck left to work with his band "Sorcery". Fetus Ripper than allowed "Malachi" (Carl Albeson) to join and the name was changed to "Arch Diocese". No songs recorded, and more time wasted. Finally Fetus Ripper said "fuck it, i will do it myself". He recorded vocals, guitars and placed them over drum programmed tracks and he had the band "Hacksaw Abortion Clinic". The demo was "The Rigor-Mortis Fuck Fest". After this he changed the name to Wisteria, and recorded a few demos with such famous songs as "Choking on shit", "Make that Whore Bleed", "I will kill her, rape her, and shit on her grave" and "gutted from the twat" . After this a small side project called "Zombiefucker" came out with grindcore gore songs which have since been lost, but included a memorable cover of "I gut you babe". Finally in 2005 the project name was changed to "Fetus Ripper" and a demo was recorded. This demo would later become an EP. After this another demo was released with the band name "The Psychoholicz" which features accoustic black metal music. Later accosutic death metal songs were recorded as well. In 2008 the demo tracks were finally mastered and the long awaited EP "Rape, Whiskey and Death Metal" was released through Hacksaw Abortion Records and was even reviewed by the Perubian death metal magazine "Death Thrasher". It was in 2008 when John Putignano decided to end the project. It wasnt until 2011, nearly seven years since any new material was written or recorded that John decided to revive the project. This time around we have Chris Carrigan on vocals, with John focusing on Guitars, bass, drum programming as well as vocals. August 2011 saw the limited release of "Gore Fucking Metal" which served as an intro for the December 2011 release of Fetus Ripper's first album since it all began in 2000.
