Fanick Marie Verger Fangbédji Fôô Fanick Dr. Drums is an artist native of Benin Rep. who lives at Berlin and is currently wellknown thanks to the originality and the impact of his work on the promotion of Benin culture in Germany.

Indeed, he is a talented musician, drummer, composer, songwriter and arranger who started his carreer 25 years ago in some Cotonou Schools music group. Very serious at work and keen to achieve perfection his early experience enables him to perform as a drummer in several orchestras such as the ORTB band ( National Broadcasting Corporation music band )

He build up this national and international reputation whit Stan Tohon and later on , he became famous thanks to the renowned Alpha Blondy whit whom he had many concerts throughout Africa and all over the world.

At this moment, he lives in Berlin and manages his own business which deals whit live music, Afro-Reggae, afro-Beat, World music, Workshops, Voodoo Percussions, cultural and tourist promotion of the Republic of Benin.

In this regard and relying on his personal mean, he has taken part in all meetings which deal whit negro-african culture in Germany.

By so doing he always aims at promoting the culture and the tourist wealth and all over the world.

Fôô Fanick is undertaking a projet titeld: Benin - Music – Cultures & Perspectives. This is another action which shows is willingness to work for the cultural open of our country overseas.

In March 1997, during the promotion trip of his new album in Benin, Fôô Fanick took part in “Orire” music programm on the National TV Station he proved once again that he still is a real ambassador of Benin culture in Germany.

There Fôô Fanick call all the First World Counties to help Africa and the Third World Countries not by sending “Weapons, Guns and Money”, sorry but helping by building Schools, Hospitals, send Tractors and Machines for the development of our agriculture.
