Found on the Doorstep now consists of Evan Rudman (Drummer), Drew Irwin (singer/guitarist), Jay Saper (guitarist), and Trevor Bell (Noob/bassist). In the beginning, forming in 2004, they played many covers that sounded absolutely nothing like the originals and found themselves sucking very badly. Two years, two bassists (beginning with Erik and followed by Tyler), and they have accomplished almost nothing. Then they found hope when local scene guru Irving Ronk (Curving Irving) helped them earn a slot on a local bill with Cartel. Again, Found on the Doorstep was demoralized and emotionally shattered. Since then they have reinvented and critiqued themselves into fine-tuned musical geniuses. On a more serious note, Found on the Doorstep is a completely new band. Their music these days is extremely catchy and almost inspirational. Recording for their first EP entitled "Our First EP" will most likely occur in early 2007. We are all looking forward to what they will bring to the scene in the next 2 years. Also, they bought stickers which made them feel kind of like a real band. Some recently recorded songs they have made are currently in the process of being mixed (by his holiness Max Steger of Blacktop Mourning, myspace.com/blacktopmourning), and will soon be up on this site for your listening pleasure.
