About Band
The Garage Batz are a New York based trio formed in 1999. With Ralph Fontones on bass and vocals and Manny Piatos on guitar, our music has been described as Garage Goth with a taste of Punk. The band has been featured on the Overflow with Garry Lee on RadioSeagull.com, an internet station in the UK, and on various Internet stations in the US. The band has had phenomenal responses to songs like "Shadows", inspired by the tragedy of 9/11 and "I'm in the mood for love", a gritty remake of the 1935 classic. “I never thought” was also featured in the independent film “Dave’s Apartment”. After listening to our 5 song EP, you’ll agree the Garage Batz are destined to become a unique sound in today's hard rock music.
