Gary Preiss & 8 Mile Creek perform a crossover blend of Pop, Country, and light Rock.  The band was formed in the Winter of 2006 and have several songs put together.  “Thorns In Paradise” is definitely a fan favorite along with “Traveling With My Friends” and “Down In New Orleans”.  Those three songs were recorded at Wishbone Studios in Muscle Shoals, AL by McGuire Productions.  They feature the musical talents of Larry Byrom on guitar and keyboards and Roger Clark on drums and percussion.  Larry played with Steppenwolf from ’69-’72 and his band Ratchell.  Roger played with the Steve Miller Band, J. Geils Band, Doobie Brothers, Eddie Money, and many others.  The Band 8 Mile Creek is named, of course, after a creek.  A creek in North Alabama behind the home where Gary and Danny grew up.
