Ghost Ryders is a band looking to make “it”.

And just what is “It” might you ask – in this case, it’s not what you think. Just ask Clint Sweet – percussionist & co-founder of the band…

“… Every other band in the world has lofty dreams, and I can’t say that it wouldn’t be real nice to have everything handed to us on a silver platter… we just want to focus on what we love to do – making great music."

And making music is what they are doing, and doing well. The band co-founded by Sweet and Vocalist / guitar slinger Billy Craig three years ago has quietly been creeping out of the underbrush of the Eastern Carolina music scene with their combination of down-home country flavored tunes, dynamic stage presence, and the “devil may care” attitude easily attributed to most modern rock acts.

“ We’re all former rock guys for the most part…” says vocalist Billy Craig of the band's dynamic. “… we know how to put on a show not just for the crowd – but with the crowd. It means a lot to all of us to see everyone having a great time participating with us rather than just circulating the bar.”

Rounded out by accomplished steel player Milton Carrol, and new additions Ricky Toler (Guitars) & Owen Santy (bass) Ghost Ryder is continuing to broaden their horizons and touring radius thru the spring and summer of 2007 beyond their Coastal Carolina homes, and look forward to their first EP release of original material sometime in the fall.
