Unsigned Entertainment

GRI started in September of 2005.  At some point along the way, all of us except Sharla, had played together in various other bands together.  This project started out as a joke when Brad and Chris wrote a song called LIvin', and we asked Becky and Wayne to record the drums and bass.  They laughed at us, and thought that an acoustic band wouldn't be a great idea ( as we all had a southern/classic rock background).  Needless to say we started a band and started writting.  The one thing was lets just do original music and see what happens.  Well come to find out writting together seemed to flow very easily.  So we went on for a year adding Sharla to the mix, and started concentrating on vocals and really add an element, that alot of bands lose focus on.  In June of 07' we invited Amy to come play keyboards for us, and she has taken our songs to a new level.  Right now we incorporate 5 different vocals, 2 guitars, keys, and a new drummer Jamie Moore, and Jennifer Candage who brings an amazing presence to the vocals.  We have found our little nitch in writting and are developing a new sound. I guess if Crosby Stills Nash and Young and Allman brothers had offspring, it would be us!!

It isnt an easy road when you are an original band, and your from Maine, we have been successful thus far with our originals.  There is no better feeling then hearing your songs being sung back to you over your stage volume.
