About Band
Giv'R is a 4 piece alternative rock band from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The band started in 2003 and have since had members join, leave, and change roles within the band in order to create the essence that is Giv'R. They are currently Tyler Hunt, Cameron O'Neill, and Newest member Scott McNabb. Giv'R currently plays various local venues and has become a major player in the Winnipeg rock scene. GivR have had the pleasure of playing many shows in their career for various charities, including our Annual Kurt Cobain tribute show in which all profits go toTeen Touch Manitoba. The band has been played various times in the past year on the Power 97 River City Rawks show, showcasing our songs. The band is presently working on material for their first album. The album is intended to draw on the various musical backgrounds of each member and the experiences the band has had as a whole. The band is ambitious and has plans to exist as a major part of the Canadian live/commercial music scene for years to come.
