Glitched Roots Project rose from the ashes of ska band Glitched in the year of 2007.Made up of friendships such as roots reggae band Natural I, disco-ska outfit The Sally`s and now defunct indie-alternative band Sound Expulsion, all acquainted during local music shows.

 

GRP aims to set a new sound to Singapore`s reggae and ska scene. Personally, each of us have gone through different musical experiences individually and have gone on to create a chemistry within the band that`s also an effective working tool in creating fun music for the masses.

 

GRP strives to break new ground in a music scene that has seen endless boundaries crossed and countless genres evolving within and around each other.

 

Our influences include:311,Goldfinger,Sublime,Cat Empire, USCB All-stars, System of a Down, Rancid, Skindred, P.O.D and also many other local bands like Bushmen, Fatskunks, Comic Strip
