Great Northern Hotel, kicked off at the start of 2004, Will was walking around armed with his bedroom-recorded album, searching for a band and slowly started to recruit his motley crue.
Meeting Kent at Riley collage Hull, is where a strange musical partnership began,
channelling his musical flair, spinning the head of the gnh sound once again. Before realising what they had , another piece of the band was placed. Nathan the man with the bass checked in to the Hotel.
The search for a female vocalist was becoming extremely difficult and Will decided to take on that role himself, with a little push from Sharpe Management.
Who then hooked them up with there producer Peter Lorentz for there first real recording, The songs that they recorded where playful and a bit sarcastic. Led by semi acoustic guitars and banjo, with up-tempo beats, and harmonica, the band flirted with the folk pop rock sound, with a suttle dark undertone, which underlines them as a band, And as musicians from there home, Kingston Upon Hull.
