HADITHA

About Band

Starting in late November of 2005, bassist Brandon Riggs and guitarist David "Roach" Nichols sought out so create a new sound. With many different influences, ideas, and playing styles the two quickly formed Haditha. Sitting in an apartment in Bellmead for months writing music, and searching for a complete line up, Matt Westerfield became the vocalist for Haditha. Without a drummer, the band stuck to the daily practices of creating the monster. In the summer of 2006 Chris Collier became the drummer for Haditha. Creating the full sound, and actually having a complete line up the band quickly created three original songs. After months of hard work, and dedication Chris Collier decided that it was best for him to step down from his position as the drummer, and to pursue his goals in the U.S. Air force. Stuck again without a drummer, the band was in a slow rut. Jamming with other drummers, we couldn't find the right person to fit the position. Finally after all the bullshit the band went through, Doug Thompson became the official drummer for Haditha. Staying low for quite a while, the band quickly added new drums for the three original songs that already existed. After about three months, the band had had there official set. After playing some live shows, the band was missing something. Former Acid Theory brother of Roach and Matt, Jake "Bones" Wilson became the second guitarist for Haditha. With the thunderous guitar riffs and solos, the band thought that it would be a pleasure to recruit another former Acid Theory brother, Myke McCllelan as the second bassist for Haditha. With the lowest bass lines you'll ever hear, and the monstrosity of the vocal power growling along with the slamming groove of the beat, everyone will soon get there fix of the Haditha slam.

We're coming.
