About Artist
My name's Holly Lauren Shadforth, but you can just call me Holly and this is a new side-project I'm starting alongside my other band; Clearwing. I also have a promotion company called 'Bleeding Star Promotions' which was started as a joint street-team for a few bands in and around the North-East.
This project I'm starting is for myself, because I figured that I wanted to kind of escape everything and write from my heart and that's what I'm doing. This is something I've dreamed of doing for a while so basically right now, I'm starting from scratch, digging out songs I wrote when I was 12 and going through them making changes to them and adapting them for who I am now, because as I've grown older, my style of writing has changed and I've been able to take new experiences and inspirations and really drive them into what I do.
For those of you that don't know me personally, Music is my passion and it's the heart and soul of everything I do. I've been playing guitar for about 5 years non-stop now and I've been singing since I could talk. I don't consider myself to be excellent, but I think my strengths are reflected in the lyrics I write and the ideas I incorporate into my music.
Where do I get my inspiration from? Life and everything it hands me, good or bad. That's why we're here. To make the most of this life we're given and savour it.
