Don Johnson (aka) "HoodBoy" started out loving Hip Hop when he was just a child. Growing up without his biological mother (decease when he was 3yrs. old), his late aunt raised him to be a man who became to inherit a passion for music. Born and raised in Milwaukee, WI., the middle child out of 3, Don was instantly attracted in heart by the music Hip Hop offered and decided to make it part of his life. His his teenage years, Don was known for his creative ability to rap over sampled beats and perform in shows throughout the city. Soon, he would realize that, not only can he rap, but also produce. He immediately started learning the In's and Out's of music production and when he reached adulthood, he became his own investor. In 2000, Don was officially producing beats and making tracks, for not just himself, but other local unknown artists as well. In 2003, he invested in a multi-media digital project studio and became one of Milwaukee's independent entreprenuers in music production.

Today, Don has his hands full working on projects, not only for himself, but other artists as well. His company, "Nu Ride Productions" is located in Milwaukee, WI.
