About Band

Formation (2005-2007)

The origin of the band goes back to November of 2001, Nate Cyanide had moved to the Frankfort area in which he had met Robert Shawn, The two easily became good friends and in the next few years both of them were beginning to realize their musical talent. Nate had began experimenting with two casio keyboards as well as becoming extremely intrigued with the auto-tune tool used by most mainstream artists at the time. In 2004 Robert Shawn the snare drum around this time Nate was having a couple thoughts about starting a band with Robert. In November of 2005 Nate and Robert had formed the band SWVE which at the time was intended to be a modern rock band but as both of their tastes in music changed so did their sound. In 2006 SWVE began to record their first album which during the stages of recording close friend Chris Alan was hired as the band's management not long after he was asked to join the band. In early 2007 the debut SWVE album "A Point Of Concentration" was released independently in which about a month after the release SWVE had disbanded after Robert left the band and with him being owner of half of the name. Nate and Chris wanted to continue recording together but both decided that future projects would not be SWVE works thus forming a completely new band Human Missile.

EP Period (Summer of 2007 to Fall of 2007)

In July of 2007 the band released the EP entitled The Missile and You the EP featured the band experimenting with several electronic styles from Krautrock to Video game music covers. The first EP was very well received among clubbers and gamers alike. Thus pushing the band to make a quick follow up the band had inducted a third producer Ray Perrie for the second EP, At first Nate had the idea to create a single for "Glitch" which appeared on the first EP "I thought if we have a single for our number one favorite track on the EP maybe we could do a single for our least favorite track", The three composed two tracks that were to be B-Sides. Soon the plans for the single became plans for a new EP, Several tracks were recorded for the EP and most of the tracks composed for the EP were pulled and replaced with B-sides and bonus tracks. In September of 2007 the band had released "Fear And Temptation" this proved to be a terrible move for the band the EP failed to achieve the same popularity as its predecessor the EP was so unsuccessful it caused Ray Perrie to leave the band.

Breakthrough Period (Winter of 2007 to Present)

Nate and Chris were at a point where they received little to no reception after the release of "Fear and Temptation" the two decided to try taking a brief hiatus. During the hiatus Nate became involved in a local drama production when involved in it he had come to admire an actress and soon Nate had established a close friendship with her which soon dissolved. After spending hours late at night thinking of her and reflecting on his actions towards her , He soon had an inspiration he rushed into his home studio and recorded a short 3 minute demo of a track that would later become "Thought Of Rejection". The next day he sent the demo to Chris and both members began to record again with most songs centered on his experiences with the actress. By the end of November they had finished an entire album worth of music. December 21st Of 2007 the band had released the album under Viral Records yet the album did not appear on the labels myspace blog due to the band trying to push the label to release it the same day as several Dictator Group albums. So far the band has enjoyed much success from their self-titled album and plan to have another album out in August of 2008 which will also introduce a newcomer,A kuwait-based vocalist by the name of Amadoh.
