About Band
immortal sacrifice started in later 2005, we were know as rotting ancestor. Immortal Sacrifice had a period in time when we dident have a drummer it was about a 5 mounth span. in the five mouth span cody devan chris and alex work hard on re wrtiting the songs that they had. back in the day they were called the evil inside, bitch and deranged insane asylem. once we started making our music more and more black metal we became aware that the name of our band and the name of our songs just wouldnet cut it. we wanted a name that made sence to us. a immortal sacrifice. u cant kill a immortal. thats what we came up with. we have played alot of calgary venues trying to make our name out there and get a bigger fan base. our fisrts show was in 2008 at the underground. we were playing with a company called supernova. Supernova would all ways fuck over Immortal Sacrifice giving us the worst spots to play just because we are a satanic black metal band, it was fucking blasphemy.
just this year we told supernova to take a hike and we started doing thing independently and that is working for us alot better
