About Band
Intergalactic VOO is an italian electronic duo: Mark Hollywood (Dj, Beat Producer and Sound Engineer) and Frank Rocca (Voice, Guitar and Bass).
Their style is always very varied and it absorbs many influences and contaminations coming from different music genres (like Electronica, Pop, Funk, Rock, Hip Hop and House music).
They blend sounds of vintage analog machines, modern digital effects and sounds of Guitars and Basses, with a particular attention to voice arrangement and vocal effects such as Vocoders, Doubler and Distort Voices. All these tracks are recorded, mixed and arranged at The VOO Studio.
Intergalactic VOO mission is to create an innovative and fresh sound that represents their concept of electronic music.
And with these ideas the VOO also propose a very particular live show: Mark plays Synthesizers, Grooveboxes and CD Players, he mixes the tracks with a custom Dj setup, adding effects through rack units; Frank sings and plays Guitar & Bass parts using custom Pedalboards and Loopstations, he also plays some Moog/Synth parts with a second console built for live shows.
The VOO live shows also include many jam sessions, remixes and unreleased songs.
