Born into a show business family in Newcastle upon Tyne 17 December 1986, Jamie  Squire has been involved in music and the arts all his life.  A multi instrumentalist and songwriter, he plays piano, guitar, bass and drums.  A love of all genres has now developed into a passion for song writing. Influences include John Mayer, Jason Mraz and many others.

 

His recently recorded demo cd includes ‘Another Town’ ‘Old Days’ and ‘Simple Lives’, three lyrically connected songs showing Jamie’s emotional understanding and inventiveness to harness a situation and develop it into a piece of music.

 

With appearances from North East Indie venues in ‘Blueroom’ to sharing the stage with Brian Johnston (ACDC), John Miles, Rick Wakeman and Alan Clark (Dire Straits) as an individual performer, Jamie has gained invaluable experience in the music business and continues to learn more and more as he moves deeper into the industry.

 

An energetic and charismatic personality, Jamie brings that indefinable something special to each performance.
