Jason's Shadow began in January 2006 as an acoustic experiment between Olly Whale and Julian Cottee who found chemistry and similar influences underlined by their musical ability together.

After a brief period of time together, the duo felt the need to move things forward and were joined by their good friend Luke Bailey on drums.

Since then Jason’s Shadow have played at a variety of venues including Chinnerys, The Mill and The Ship as well as recording two Ep’s at ‘No Recording Studio’ with John Hannon. The first of these was a 5 track EP called "IN TIMES OF DROUGHT AND DARKNESS", released in August 2006, and the second a 3 track EP entitled “SANCTUARY”, released in February 2007.

The band have also been fortunate enough to be signed by the up and coming PR label ‘Southend Live Music’ which has paid great dividends to the band. As a resulkt, Jason’s Shadow have appeared on a number of radio stations in London, Cardiff, Essex and North Carolina including online stations such as FragFM. In the future, the band intend on shooting a music video as well as photoshoots accompanied by plenty more gigs!!!
