Jay McGee is a Fayetteville, North Carolina native now residing in Flint, Michigan, after living in Toronto,Ontario for several years. It was while living in Toronto, that Jay developed his writing and arranging skills. The singing, as most  singers will attest, is a gift from Almighty God. After years of learning from past artists, Jay McGee  has developed a  sound that is his own. A smooth approach and sometimes even a biting edge, fast,slow, or moderate ; Jay McGee is at home in all of these categories.Often compared to Sam Cooke, and rightly so, Jay  is not a copy of Sam.It is not often that you put a C.D. on and let it just play through. Well if you like the first song you'll probably like the whole C.D. After listening we hope that you will be a Jay McGee appreciator too.
