About Artist
JB is an abbreviation that represent the group name:
Jude and Brilliant.
We were born and brought up in Benue State, but we originated from Enugu State in different Local Government Areas.
Edwin Echem Azubuike whom is popularly known as brilliant graduated from Shalom Academy Nsukka and then after, got an admission in E.S.U.T “Enugu State University of Technology” studying mass communication.
Jude Ojobo graduated from Federal College.
We started singing when we were teenagers, but we went fully into music when we attained the level of a youth (i.e. from 18) actually we are independent singers. That does the same kind of song. We discovered our selves from a studio and became friends.we have been to too many shows and performed along with some few known artist.(e.g black face,2deep,tribunals,among others.
We confronted a lot of challenges as an artist. Most of the challenges are finance and support from our parents,poor studio, frustration from studio management and Engineers, but thank God today that we manage to elope some of the challenges.
The advice we have for up coming artist is this:
Knowing that naturally within yourself you have the talent and you know you can do better than some of the predominant artist do not relent and always pray to God to give you the strength to carry on.
