Dulac,real name Joost van der Meer,was born in Enschede Holland,in 1976

While growing up,he was listening to hiphop music.

 

 

He got his first turntable (without pitch-control)from his grandma, and bought the other one,second hand.

 

 

Still listening to the radio,he heard weird kind of music on German radiofrequencies,what was later called 'house' music.

 

 

At that time,it was 1988, he bought his first houserecord.After this he was hooked!At that point,housemusic became a part of his life.

 

 

 

 

 

His first payed gig was in 1994 at a local club in Enschede.After that,Dulac got contacts in Germany and soon after that,he performed all over Germany

 

 

Holland and Norway.

 

 

After several years playing house music,Dulac was ready for the producing-business.He did some studiotime with a wellknown dj in Holland,learning to use the tools.

 

 

Right now he is ready to show the world his sound,on the radio,but offcourse also in the clubs,playing his own style.

 

 

His first record  came out on FATAL-MUSIC/DRUM MODE,a label from Dulac's hero JAIMY.This record is already played by the top-dj's all over the world,such as Danny Tenaglia,Chus and Ceballos,Victor Calderone,Jaimy,Behrouz,all the top dj's in Holland and so on. He did 5 remixes on FATAL-MUSIC for artists like Jaimy,BAM from New York, dj Tomer,Mario Calegari,Laera (Italy) and Serial Smokers.You can check them out on www.FATAL-MUSIC and all the big download-shops in the world.

 

 

He did remixes for Sandy Rivera and the Kings of Tomorrow,Angel Moraes,  and he re-did the big hit in 1997: 'Love Commandments from Phil T Project feat. D'Layna.

 

 

Also 5 more DULAC-tracks are  released on FATAL-MUSIC called: "GangsterBoogie EP", typical DULAC-tribal-records!

 

 

In november 2007,Dulac got into the US Billboard 100 as the highest intrance that week,with a remix he did called: Noa Tylo-Let's do it, together with his mate Niel'c aka Dutchican Soul!

 

 

As the sound of house is changin',Dulac also changes his style all the time.His next EP called Changin directions (released July 2008 on 90 Watts records)is a beautyfull,deep-moody-tech-house record.

 

 

At the end of june,Dulac is also releasing another EP called: Miscellaneous EP on Chega-records, with bigroom bomba's only for big festivals and the biggest clubs on earth,played by the biggest dj’s in the world like Laurent Garnier,Danny Tenaglia and dj Behrouz ,with a typical Dulac-flow; dirty,techy,funky,but more important,absolutely exploding on the dancefloor!
