let me introduce myself...

I'm a 26-year-old singer/songwriter/amateur guitarist who tends to frolic on the darker side of the spectrum.  I am currently working on my first full length record and am looking for musicians who are interested in collaborating!  Of course, I would love to be able to make music & tour as a full-time gig, but in the mean time I am completing a double major in Biology and Journalism at Seattle University.

My influences as a child ranged from John Cougar, CCR and Bruce Springsteen to The Who, Pink Floyd and Patti Smith.  The early 90s introduced me to Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Nine Inch Nails and a slew of other  artists who had a profound impact on me, both musically and emotionally.  Upon moving to Seattle, I discovered Sleater-Kinney, Cat Power, Bright Eyes, and so many other amazing artists that have left their mark on me.

Music has saved my life time and time again.  These artists, and too many others to name, are my every day heroes.  I am looking for one chance, one window of opportunity that will allow me to share just a bit of the light & magic they have brought into me, with the rest of the world.
