What Comes Of This...The J Jizzle Bio....Updated!

What Comes Of This - The J Jizzle Bio

Jon Jennings, aka J Jizzle, has loved music since September 14, 1988. When he was young he was always around Rock bands his father liked such as Kiss, Rush, Metallica, Guns n Roses, etc. and Country artists his mom listened to such as George Strait and Garth Brooks. The first rap song he remembers hearing that actually got him listening to rap music was Eminems "My Name Is" on the radio. After hearing that song, rap/hip hop music immediatly consumed Jon.

DJing and Peer Pressure

Jon first started off, not as an artist, but as a DJ. He was about 14 when he downloaded his first virtual turntables on the computer, which he is still using to this day(newer versions of course). Jon started hanging out with a cat, Donovan Crain(DC) who was always freestyling and rocking the lunch table at school. They became like brothers and hung out 24/7. Everytime DC was at Jons house, Jon would be mixing up beats while DC would freestyle to them, murdering it. DC would always try to pressure Jon into freestyling over the beats with him, but Jon was just too shy and umcomfortable. Finally, after about 4 weeks of Peer Pressuring, Jon finally got "on the mic" and after quite a bit of practice, started rockin it!

J Jizzle & DC - Loose Change

One night, DC was just ripping the mic real good and Jon and DC decided to record a whole CD. Right before they started recording it, DC gave Jon the nickname "J Jizzle" because at that time, Snoop Doggs "my nizzle you wizzle, tha shizzle" language was very popular and they were making up nicknames based on that. (You'd take the first letter of someones first name, Jon, and the first letter of there last name with izzle at the end, Jennings = Jizzle). "Loose Change" was the first album J Jizzle recorded at the age of 16. It was sold all throughout Belton High School.

J Jizzle Solo - Texas Resurrected

After loose change, DC started beefing with Jizzle many times for no logical reasons, so Jizzle started working on his 2nd/solo album, Texas Resurrected, at the age of 17. Jizzle recorded half the album while attending Temple High School, and the rest while at Belton High School. It was released January 1st 2006 and was heavily sold throught Belton. The success of it was much greater then "Loose Change", but Jizzle knew he still hadn't reached his full potential. After Tex-Res., Moni Johnson of theGrindLab/Cix7 informed J Jizzle he had been brought up during a blacklight session, but it wasn't anything to be proud of. After being in the talks with Moni J. more and starting to talk to EL of theGrindLab/Cix7, Jizzle began to take music more serious.

Bye J Jizzle...Hello J Jizzle of theGrindLab

Jizzle finally caught his break, after many hardships, with a message from Moni Johnson(CEO Of theGrindLab) he recieved one day at school on thegrindlab.com. The message was asking Jizzle if he was down to sign with theGrindLab. Jizzle was mainly shocked, he had talked to EL a lot about being down with theGrindLab, but was no where ready for the message that day. Of course, as any person with a brain would he, he accepted. Currently, Jizzle is working on his debut album "Untouchable" which has the hit single "Throw It Up" on it.

J Jizzle - The REAL Soulja Boy

After a few months of working on his album "Untouchable", J Jizzle signed a contract....For the Army.  He left on June 14th for Basic Combat Training in South Carolina at Ft. Jackson.  While there, Jizzle wrote numerous songs so he could be ready to come back to Texas improved in numerous ways, and also was able to promote his music and would do acapella verses(Because you aren't allowed a radio in Basic until you're final week).  He got well known fromday one and earned a little street cred.  On August 24th, Jizzle graduated from BCT and left for Ft. Lee, Virginia for his AIT(Advanced Individual Training).  He continued to promote his music, but this time passing out demos to people gaining many fans...Even a few of his Drill Sergants were feeling his music.  He finally finished his Army training and headed home(Texas) for 28 days.
